Flat Iron/Straightener: How To Flat Iron Your Hair

This is a straight forward tutorial for those of you who want to learn how to use
flat iron. The techniques used here can be used with other brand straightening irons, not just GHD. I have used many brands and this has been my most reliable

and durable hair straightener.

I am not sponsored by GHD. I have tried many brands, this flat iron
works quickly and I have never had an issue while using it. I will show
you in this tutorial how to prep your hair before-hand, and how to get
amazingly smooth straight hair.

Beauty Hacks I Found Out About Recently

1. Bat Wing Eye-Liner Using A Spoon

This is a interesting way to put on your eyeliner, and still one I don't do normally. It's nice to know, for when I will do this type of look.

2. Deoderant Doubles as Bug Bite Remedy

Since I've moved to Australia, I haven't been able
to find a decent brand of cream to treat these mosquito
bites. I've read and seen in multiple Blogs & Vlogs, that
this is an easy remedy to itchy bug bites.

3. Dry Shampoo

My most recent Bellabox came with a travel size Bastiste Dry Shampoo.  I didn't expect to have to use this, but after running around all day I found my hair feeling a bit gross so before having to run out again I grabbed this and sprayed the hell out of my hair before tousling with my fingers to work the spray in. My hair and scalp felt and more importantly *looked* better. The smell isn't the best, but its a product I feel does a good job.

4. Eyeshadow/Liner Tape Trick

When I got my first Urban Decay palette I tried this out for my eye shadow, and it made clean up a breeze. Make sure you have both put on evenly, or the tape lines will be very crocked.

Matte Lipgloss Swatches

I've been going through different beauty bloggers latest hauls to see what
I should avoid/pick in my next trip when I heard about Savvy. They are a

drugstore brand makeup, that I had not heard of or tried before. I bought
them based on a popular Youtuber's Blog that I adore.

So I decided to combine this with the Matte lip trends going on, and
picked my favorite colours. The choices were limited, given that they
have recently discontinued selling them, and only stores have a limited
supply left in stock. I found they are quite difficult to find online.

Since I have heaps of bright red lip gloss already curtousy of LHI beauty box
I didn't believe it would be a good idea to get the colour 'Miss Monroe',
so I settled on the following....

I was slightly disappointed by how haggard it made the inside of my lips look.

Removal shreds your lips, so I recommend before applying you remove any dry
skin from your lips with a warm wash cloth to prevent this HIGHLY pigmented
colour from sticking to any surface giving you a chunky or 'furry' like appearance.

I was pleased at the suggestion the company makes about using two or more colour'
s to create a whole new colour, so I tried this. Mixing the two colour's together started out looking like a huge mess but came to a cute hot pink colour. Based on using this so far I'm still more of a fan of glossy lipglosses :)
